Golden sand sifts out across the horizon

Smoking girl, smirks with defiant lips

And smoke oozes into the afternoon heat

 

Everything is silent and humidity reeks

The girl dances and twirls, morphs a sandstorm

Her arms contort, while the cigarette remains still

Then everything halts, moment captured
