A HELPFUL GUIDE FOR PRESERVICE AND GRADUATE TEACHERS

Blood vessels of the heart snipped

Maze tracing the end of the core

A synapse’s lust is suddenly flipped

A sour whimper is the mind’s flaw

Tears, droplets of the love crazed

A desperate plea forever more

The vague expression of the dazed

Lips stretched for eternal hope

The dimple pinch upon the gazed

Although the mind attempts to cope

Each memory refuses to keel

The muscles and thoughts begin to mope

When the heart has sunk, it refuses to heal

Torn petals from the mind turn to dust

The craving begins, the craving to feel

And the urges morph into bitter lust
