Powdered dust is the nectar of winter

But a heat zephyr mellows in the south

Endless gravel among wasted landscape

And celestial orb discolours skin

 

Dampened breathe moulds the aches

Contorted joints crawl to shadows

Liquor settles consciousness

And startles dreams and nightmares
